Acton Crown 2 - Kedington FC 5 11/10/9 |
A phrase that can all to often be applied to the beginning of the second half of a Kedington FC match is "Just as everything seemed to be going well..." Saturday was another sad case of this as Sporting's Mark Cundy headed in their equaliser from a corner to the far post. It was another header from another corner midway through the half that allowed Dan Jones to make use of his size and put the visitors ahead. Kedington pushed to get back in to the game but could not capture their first half form nor the goals needed to keep the visitors from the semi final place Kedington FC had so hoped to claim for it's self.
The Kedington team will need to work on their second half stamina and focus if they are to triumph on their visit to Glemsford next week and with the closeness of the battle between 2nd, 3rd and 4th in the league, Kedington will need a win to give them a chance at breaking clear and challenging for the number one spot.
